The 6th annual Newburyport Spring Fever 5K and Family Fun Run will be held on Sunday, May 15th, rain or shine. Come run through the scenic streets of beautiful downtown Newburyport and enjoy some of the best surroundings New England has to offer. The family fun run starts at 12 pm for children 5th grade and under, walkers start at 12:40pm and the USATF certified and sanctioned 5K starts at 1 pm. Local talent “Don’t Call me Shirley” will provide musical entertainment, while local merchants supply delicious food. Prizes awarded to top female/male competitor in each class. All proceeds from this fundraising event benefit Newburyport’s public elementary schools. Please see links for further information.
